One of our key cornerstones is creating a community grounded in God’s love, and we have been charged with sharing His love with more people. We have taken a step in faith to purchase a church building to help us fulfill our mission of reaching out to the community, connecting people to God’s Word, and transforming lives. With our own church building, we will expand our outreach efforts and make strong community partnerships.

God is not a God that is contained in buildings, however, God has always cherished buildings in His name. He commanded His people through the prophet Haggai saying, “Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified” (Haggai 1:8). The building of the temple in Haggai’s day, as well as today, is to glorify God. It provides a place where a community of believers can convene to acknowledge God’s greatness by praising and worshiping Him, bringing Him honor and glory. What a wonderful opportunity we have to help build the house of God, a place that He takes pleasure in! Let’s rally together, roll up our sleeves, and build the house of the Lord. Let’s count it a privilege to be invited to participate in this venture.

The words of David come to mind when he was gathering resources to build the temple, “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.” (1 Chronicles 29:14). Like David, I thank God for the resources that He has blessed my family and your family with, as well as the willingness that He has placed in our hearts to use what He has given us to build a house for His pleasure. So please join me and the All Nations Community SDA Church family as we bring our ‘wood’, our ‘sliver’, our ‘gold’, our time, and our money to build a temple in God’s name, honor, and glory. This will fulfill our vision to reach out to the community, connect our community with God’s word, and allow God to transform their lives.

HOW CAN I HELP?

Step 1: Pray

Prayer Points:

1. Location: Pray that God places us in a community where we can continue reaching, connecting, and transforming lives.

2. Finances: Pray that God provides the funds that we need to purchase the building that He has in store for us.

3. Decision Makers: Pray that God leads and guides the hearts of the key decision makers.

4. Your Impact: Pray that God reveals to you what you can contribute towards this vision.

Step 2: Pledge

Make a commitment, and share your plans. “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly, or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7

Step 3: Give

Make a one-time donation or set up a recurring donation. Your generous donation will create a place for spiritual growth and discipleship, create a sense of community for relationship building, and serve the community through various ministries. “Give and it will be given to you…for with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” – Luke 6:38

Encourage others to join you as you make your own commitment to the Reach Campaign.
