Pastor Webster Sterling

Pastor Webster Sterling was born on the beautiful island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He is a product of Adventist Education and has benefiting from the Biblical worldview gained from attending Mountain View Adventist Academy. He spent his early years aspiring to become a minister of the gospel. As a preparation ministry, he has served the church, even at a young age, in several capacities, including Adventist Youth leader and Elder.

After high school, Pastor Sterling decided to pursue a different career path in Electrical Engineering. However, his dreams of becoming an Engineer were shattered as his high school education prepared him for the field of business. Pastor Sterling decided to attend Caribbean Union College, now known as the Southern Caribbean University. Here, Pastor Sterling refused the advice of many and chose not to pursue a degree in Theology. After months of indecisiveness, he finally settled on a degree in Business Education.

In 2001 Pastor Sterling migrated to the United States and attended City University of New York where he earned a Masters of Art in Economics. During his economics studies, Pastor Sterling decided that he would like to share his passion, love, and knowledge of economics by becoming a professor. For several years, he taught Economics at Temple University and Philadelphia University in Pennsylvania.

All through the years God still had a plan and purpose for his life. God has been calling and preparing him for Ministry. And so in 2014, he finally heeded the call and enrolled at the Andrews University Theological Seminary in Berrien Springs, Michigan receiving a Masters in Divinity in 2016. Pastor Sterling’s background experience and training have prepared him to serve both as a pastor and educator.

In addition to him serving as the pastor of the All Nations Community Church, Pastor Sterling also serves as the chaplain of the Lake Nelson Adventist Academy in Piscataway, NJ. There he uses his experience and knowledge teaching college-level courses in Business, Economics, and Statistics to high school students. Pastor Sterling is preparing himself to be of greater use to God, the Church, and the community by pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration with Thomas Edison University in Trenton, New Jersey.

Pastor Sterling is married to the former Michelle Baxter, who hails from the exotic island of Jamaica. This wonderful union since 2004 has brought two beautiful girls, Sobrina and Serena.

Pastor Sterling believes that everyone has a special calling in their life. His goal is to allow himself to be used by his creator, preparing men and women, boys and girls for the second coming of Jesus while helping them to live up to the purpose that God has created them to be.
